CineCatch is an adults-only app for meeting people through shared movie taste. It is intended only for users aged 18 and older.
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, trafficking, or any behavior that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
1. Adults-only access
CineCatch is not directed to children. Users must confirm they are 18 or older before they can use People, matching, or chat, and the app is listed for adults only.
If we learn or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to a minor, we remove it from People, restrict it, and delete it.
2. Prohibited content and behavior
Users may not upload, share, request, promote, or distribute CSAM or any content that sexualizes minors.
Users may not use CineCatch to groom, solicit, threaten, exploit, or arrange contact with a minor, or to facilitate harm against children in any way.
3. Reporting in the app
Users can report any person from their profile, from a chat, or from the Matches list. The report reasons include "Underage" and "Inappropriate", and an optional note can describe the concern.
Reporting someone also blocks them immediately, so they can no longer see or message the reporter. Messages in a reported chat are kept for our review even if either person later deletes their account.
Child-safety reports are reviewed first and can lead to immediate removal of the account while we investigate.
4. Enforcement
We remove content, hide profiles from People, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts that violate these standards or create a risk to children.
We preserve relevant records where needed for safety investigations, legal compliance, or cooperation with law enforcement.
5. Legal reporting and cooperation
We report apparent CSAM and child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national authorities, as required by applicable law.
We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child-safety authorities consistent with applicable law.
